What we do
Here at Blue Skies we aim to give you all the information that is relevant for a responsible tourist in Norway. That includes updates and independent reviews of ecotourism-certified tour operators, activities that are environmentally-friendly, information about how you get around the country on public transport, and information on the nearest organic bakeries and restaurants. If you have a hot tip about something you think we should write about, contact us on hello@blueskiesguide.com.
So why do we do it?
Because we believe that the future of tourism should – and must – be sustainable.

How we are funded
At the moment we are not. There is little money available for this sort of thing in Norway, so we're just doing this in our free time. If you want to support us, we will be adding a small online shop soon where you can buy some of our stuff. We're also in the process of writing a book about responsible tourism in Norway, which should be hitting the shelves sometime in 2010. You will also be able to buy it from this website. We'll keep you updated on the progress if you sign up for our newsletter, or check on our progress here from time to time!
How can I help?
If you have any skills you think we might be in need of, let us know on hello@blueskiesguide.com. We're always in need of people who are dedicated and passionate about the environment and sustainability.
We're also happy to receive tips of things and places we should cover!
